Unassembled AM - Short Wave Receiver Kit Set We had one of these kits a long time ago, and have found another. This is a discontinued kit, and very uncommon! NOTE: The kit is in a sealed plastic bag, all photos were taken through the bag. Graphics will be clearer than in the photos. Unopened shortwave radio receiver kit. High Performance, nice looking kit. Tunes AM and 3.5-11 and 11-30 MHz SW bands. Printed circuit board construction. Transistor and IC design. We see 2 IC's, 2 transistors, 6 metal can transformers , 1 diode, 2 ceramic filters, resistors, ceramic - film - polystyrene and electrolytic capacitors. Also includes knobs, rotary band switch, hookup wire, antenna wire, and hardware. Case measures 6 x 4-1/2 x 1-3/8 inches. The bottom of the case has fold-out 'legs' in the back, to provide slanted orientation if desired. Built-in battery compartment opening, and what appear to be holes for an internal speaker. Operates on an ordinary 9-volt battery (not included). Printed circuit board construction! Board is under parts bag, only a small section is visible in the photo. Component side is silk screened with component legends and numbers, solder side has green solder mask. Radio output connects to external speaker, the speaker is not included.
