Harris Radio RF-4040 extender board IN KIT FORM Note I would also like to design an extender for the Harris 5800 radio. Please contact me. I need 5800 radio board dimensions in order to produce the necessary extender. Price will be the same as the 4040. This board is used to extend the plug-in boards so they can be serviced and/or repaired. This board is close in fit, form and function to an original Harris extender board. When used with this extender the transceiver board will be up out of the radio board slot and be ready for voltage and or o-scope signal probing. Everything required to make the four extenders shown in the photo are provided except the solder needed to solder the edge connectors to the boards and epoxy to support the unused connections on the blank side of these boards. I would like to suggest going to the HP Groups.io internet forums for help. Many there have this extender and may be willing to sell or loan the one they have. Otherwise check back later. I am continuing to try to get this resolved with eBay. The offering includes the following board: One 43X2 (86 conductors) Pitch .156 inch Size 5 inch H 8.5 inch W The edge connector shown in the photos is fabricated here in my shop because I have been unable to find any 43X2 edge connectors. Boards sold so far have been found to be functional and have had good review by the technicians working on these Harris Military style.
