Description
For your consideration is a Ham "M", bearing kit for reconditioning the old worn "egg shaped" steel bearings. These are brand new manufactured exact replacement bearings for the Ham "M" Rotators. Replacing those old worn bearings will give a much smoother rotation in your rotor and prevent possible "seize-up" of the motor. Included now with your purchase is enough lithium grease to lube the two bearing assemblies for this rotor. Also included is a liberal amount of non-corrosive Marine Grade grease to put on the bolt screw threads to prevent "welding" of the dis-similiar metal parts joined together by the bolts. This will insure when removing the bolts years later a much easier task without any corossive binding or welding of the removal bolts and screws. The Ham "M" rotors use 99 bearings on two bearing plastic "races". One is above the rotating bell and the other is on the bottom stationary part of the rotor. Other "Ham type rotor bearings are on auction here on E-bay under my name " n3qkradio ". I would advise changing all bearings at one time because the older ones may look ok, but in a short time they too will fail. Taking the rotor apart is not an easy task, so changing all the bearings at once will last a very long time. Kit of: 100 pcs of bearings, lithium grease, Marine Grade Anti-seize corrosive preventing grease and step-by-step instructions. $40.00 AND FREE SHIPPING via Priority Mail with $100 insurance. If you have never undertaken the chore of changing the bearings, I will send you my instructions the way I do it. I have re-built many rotors for the local area ham community over a 30 year span. I am available via e-mail to answer any questions concerning the rebuilding you may have. All bearing kits now shipped FREE Priority USPS MAIL!
