YAESU FT-891 SEPARATION Kit (Like the YSK-891) Speaker, Mic, Control Head cables with mounting head adapter Included in this package: 18-foot 6 pin Control Head Extension (Quality Stranded Copper Communications Cable) 18-foot 8 pin Microphone Extension Cable (Quality Stranded Copper Communications Cable) 12-foot 3.5 mm Quality Durable Speaker Extension Cable 1 Adjustable Control head adapter. 1 Commercial grade Black F/F Microphone adapter (We have NEVER used Shrink Tubing) Control Head Adapter: Do not over tighten screw to the control head. You can use the screws provided for mounting holes on the control head adapter. We have seen others use tie-wraps or twist ties in the mounting holes. We have been asked about Velcro but we would have to see this work in a vehicle to recommend it. Send us pictures of your installations and we will consider using it to help others with mounting ideas. CONTROL HEAD IS NOT INCLUDED but to show fit of adapter. SPECAL RECOMMENDATIONS: Our customer feedback and experience recommend the following: Check cables on the work bench before installing in vehicle. Watch for pinch points in the vehicle.
